Omega-6 fatty acids – Help for PMS, Diabetes,
Eczema, ADD
The omega-6 fatty acids are abundantly available
in grains and grain-fed meats. They include
linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
These fats can be converted in the body into
signaling chemicals such as prostaglandins, which
have a wide range of regulatory effects. Super GLA
Blend is ideal for the female reproductive system
but it is also useful for a host of other health
benefits.
Research: Those with premenstrual syndrome,1
diabetes,2 scleroderma,3
tardive dyskinesia,4 and eczema,5
can have a metabolic block that interferes with
the body’s ability to make GLA. In preliminary
research, supplementation with evening primrose
oil (EPO) has helped people with these conditions.6
