Intestinal Soothe & Build

Intestinal Soothe & Build
(formerly UC3-J) [Intestinal] is a formula designed
to provide the nutrients the lower bowel needs to
function properly. It helps relieve occasional
bloating pressure and, as the name implies, it
soothes the intestinal tract.
The lower bowel contains millions of bacteria to
help the body process nutrients. Improperly digested
or slow-moving food may allow abnormal proliferation
of bacteria. Some kinds of bacteria are able to
produce powerful acids or alkalies that are not
normally harmful if held in check by friendly
bacteria. This formula contains botanicals
historically used to aid in the digestive process:
chamomile flowers, marshmallow root, plantain herb,
rose hips, slippery elm bark, bugleweed herb.

Intestinal Soothe and Build
- Herbal Colon Supplement Notes
Ultimate Colon Care Combination
Jeanne
Burgess designed this soothing, healing digestive tract
formula for herself. It cools the fires of stomach and
intestinal distress. Used with inflammation throughout the
digestive tract including ulcers, hiatal hernia, ileocecal
valve swelling, hemorrhoids. These are often accompanied
by bloating, indigestion, heartburn, nervous "knots" (take
with Stress-J), and abdominal pain. Use with THIM-J for
more energy for cleansing and healing.
Although not a "diuretic," the intestinal cell tissues let
go of the fluid around them. This increases fluid is
processed through the kidneys.
Research: The mucilage of slippery elm (8 studies), found
in the inner bark, gives it the soothing effect for which
it is known. In people with heartburn, the mucilage
appears to act as a barrier against the damaging effects
of acid on the esophagus. It can also have an
anti-inflammatory effect locally in the stomach and
intestines.
