Immune Stimulator - Herbal
Supplement Notes
Stimulate and strengthen immune system activity.
Beta glucans posses a chemical structure that
resembles bacteria to the immune system and thus
stimulates an immune response including an
increase in macrophages, T-cells, B-cells,
natural killer cells, cytokines and antibodies.
Arabinogalactans are fiber substances from
Western larch. They are broken down by
beneficial bacteria into acids that prevent the
growth of C. albicans, E. coli, etc.
Colostrum is rich in protein and
immune-protecting transfer factors. Reishi
mushroom, maitake mushroom and cordyceps have
antioxidant, adaptogen (balancing) and immune
stimulating properties.
Take between meals and at least an hour apart
from enzyme products.
Research: Numberous clinical studies
support use of beta-glucans to enhance the
immune system and to lower blood cholesterol
levels. Studies show they activate white blood
cells.1 In fact, there have been
hundreds of research papers on beta-glucan since
the 1960s. The research indicates that beta
glucan is very effective at activating white
blood cells known as macrophages and neutrophils.
These cells provide one of the immune system’s
first lines of defense against foreign invaders.
A beta-glucan-activated macrophage or neutrophil
has been shown to recognize and kill tumor
cells, remove cellular debris resulting from
oxidative damage, speed up recovery of damaged
tissue, and further activate other components of
the immune system.2
