Garlic - Natural Immune / Cardiovascular
Supplement Notes
Garlic is one of the most important of all
herbs. It has a broad range of well-documented
healing properties. Garlic is antimicrobial
against bacteria, fungi and worms; fights blood
clots; stimulates bile; lowers blood sugar and
cholesterol; improves blood LDL/HDL ratio.
Garlic has been found to be effective in
treating a myriad of conditions in the
circulatory, urinary, respiratory and digestive
systems largely because of its aromatic
sulfur-containing oils. Chlorophyll-rich herbs
are often used to reduce the odor of garlic on
the breath.
The High Potency Garlic has a special
chlorophyll coating that controls the garlic's
strong odor. The tablet does not break down
until it reaches the small intestine, so you get
full nutritional value without the garlic taste.
Each tablet has the total allicin potential of
1,200 mg of fresh garlic; about one full clove.
Research:
Garlic’s cardiovascular protective effects were
illustrated in a four-year clinical trial on
people 50–80 years old with atherosclerosis.1
It was found that consumption of 900 mg of a
standardized garlic supplement reduced arterial
plaque formation by 5–18%. Also, studies have
shown garlic to have antibacterial, antiviral,
and antifungal activity.2
