Source of essential omega-6 fatty acids
The body can use these oils to build
prostaglandins needed for a wide range of body
functions. Fatty acids are required for regulating
temperature, building nerve sheaths and producing
energy.
EPO helps to reduce inflammation in the
joints and also regulate blood vessels, salt and
water balance, insulin secretion, nerve function
and natural resistance. Evening Primrose Oil helps
keep the skin, hair and nails healthy and protects
the liver from toxins. Evening Primrose Oil has
been used for MS and is excellent during PMS and
other female complaints.
Research: Those with premenstrual syndrome,
diabetes, scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, eczema,
and other skin conditions can have a metabolic
block that interferes with the body’s ability to
make GLA. In preliminary research, supplementation
with Evening Primrose Oil has helped people with
these conditions.
