Coenzyme Q10 ("CoQ10") is essential to the
health of all human tissues. It helps move
nutrients and produce energy inside every cell;
it increases the efficiency of cellular
metabolism. Supplementation with 10-75mg/day is
typical. Therapeutic doses are often
300mg/day.
CoQ10 deficiencies are being discovered in a
wide range of health problems including heart
diseases, diabetes, immune deficiency, etc. Of
course, cellular vitality and energy efficiency
also improves physical endurance and
performance. Many drugs, especially “statin”
cholestrol drugs deplete CoQ10 in the body.
